急になる 〔速度が〕 become fast; suddenly speed up; 〔傾斜が〕 become steep.●〔能で〕 鼓のリズムがゆっくりになったり急になったりしながら, 主人公の心の葛藤を表す. The rhythm of the hand drum(s), alternately slow and rapid, expresses the emotional agitation of the main character.
・雪国の家の屋根は傾斜が急になっている. The roofs of houses in the snow country are steep.
